So there is a flat table on the face of these, just like when fine stones are cut for settings. The backs are actually carved with what looks like sun rays. The effect is magical! Large size stones too! A whopping 11mm wide and 15 mm long! The hoops are hand wrought, hammered, and polished with a hook and eye closure.
